We're looking for a capable Restaurant Server who will welcome and serve customers, take and deliver orders with a friendly can-do" attitude at our Cafe by the Lake Restaurant.

• Prepares dining room for breakfast and lunch operations
• Interacting with customers, taking orders and serving food and drinks, assessing customer needs and preferences and making recommendations
• Be able answer food preparation questions
• Transmits orders to bar and kitchen by POS system
• Keeps kitchen staff informed by noting timing of meal progression.
• Collaborate with other restaurant servers and kitchen/bar staff
• Issue bills and accept payment
• Assist The market as and when needed based on business.
• Reports to the Restaurant Supervisor and Food and Beverage Manager

1+ years of server experience in a dining establishment

Being familiar with POS Systems (MICROS)

Good knowledge of beverages a plus

Excellent upselling skills

Exceptional attention to detail and exceptional communication skills

Knowledge of a second language will be considered a plus

Ability handle a busy section in the restaurant and multitask effectively Excellent capability of anticipating guests' needs and fulfilling them appropriately

Ensure all guests receive the highest levels of service at all times of the day

Be attentive and proactive with the ability to respond quickly to needs of the guests

Be a clear and concise communicator

Ability to work quickly and on foot for several hours at a time. Training includes learning menu items and kitchen protocol.
