Overview:

As a Senior Product Designer, you will collaborate with cross-functional teamsencompassing user experience, product management, engineering, and business operationsto create transformative health and wellness experiences. You'll lead design initiatives from Discovery through Delivery, ensuring clarity, efficiency, and quality at every stage. This role will require a blend of facilitation, visual design, and user experience skills to craft innovative solutions that empower customers to make informed health decisions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead Design Efforts: Own the design process for wireframes, user flows, process flows, site maps, interactions, high-fidelity prototypes, and storyboards for medium to large features or initiatives in your product area.
  • Collaboration: Partner with your cross-functional team to ensure alignment and consistency in user experience and design quality across initiatives.
  • Design Systems: Leverage and evolve the design system, contributing new patterns and guidelines to ensure consistent and scalable experiences.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Effectively communicate design ideas, negotiate solutions, and balance customer needs with business goals.
  • Research-Driven Design: Utilize customer insights and research data to inform and refine design solutions, optimizing them for technical constraints, business needs, and platform-specific requirements.
  • Manage Deliverables: Oversee multiple design projects simultaneously, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery by maintaining regular communication with your 4itB partners and design lead.
  • User Research: Participate in and inform research activities to gather valuable insights, continuously improving the design process.
  • Advocate for Design Thinking: Promote user-centered design methodologies and practices within your team and the broader organization.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Product Design, Human Computer Interaction, User Experience, Interaction Design, OR a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience designing for large-scale desktop, mobile web, and mobile app consumer experiences.
  • Portfolio: A strong online or PDF portfolio showcasing your ability to apply design thinking methodologies from discovery to delivery and optimization.
  • Proficiency: Expertise in design tools such as Sketch, Figma, and Adobe Creative Cloud.
  • Accessibility: Experience designing with WCAG accessibility standards.
  • Teamwork: Proven success working in cross-functional teams, including product managers, engineers, researchers, and business stakeholders.
  • Agile: Familiarity with Agile software development processes.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
