Job description

One Tech Engineering is searching for an E&C Engineer for a position near Muleshoe, Texas. The E&C Engineer will be supporting two single-cycle combustion turbine projects.

The candidate must be a US citizen or hold a green card. The candidate should have 3+ years of experience supporting EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) projects involving combustion turbines.

E&C Engineer Responsibilities:

  • Provide onsite support for construction execution, RFI coordination, resolution of open engineering items, and commissioning/start-up activities.
  • Serve as the onsite field engineer supporting day-to-day construction and engineering activities.
  • Review engineering drawings, specifications, and construction documents.
  • Coordinate EPC RFI (Request for Information) submittal and response processes.
  • Track and resolve open engineering items during construction.
  • Assist with commissioning and start-up activities.
  • Provide technical oversight and support for EPC field activities.
  • Coordinate with project managers, engineers, construction managers, the EPC contractor, turbine manufacturers, and external vendors.
  • Support technical issue resolution to maintain project schedule and construction progress.

Requirements of the E&C Engineer:

  • 3+ years of experience supporting EPC projects involving combustion turbines.
  • Mechanical engineering experience preferred; electrical engineering experience will also be considered.
  • Previous field experience is required.
  • Familiarity with EPC RFI (Request for Information) and submittal processes.
  • Experience using Microsoft SharePoint is preferred.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) licensure preferred.
  • Valid driver’s license required.
