Title: Principal Data Solutions Architect
Client Environment:
 Snowflake, Power BI, Collibra, Azure Data Factory (ADF), Azure Data Lake, Sigma Computing, Microsoft Tech Stack
Role Overview:
We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Principal Data Solutions Architect to lead data technology consulting engagements with senior client stakeholders, including the Head of Global Data Technology and CXO-level executives. This role is focused on solution consultingdata architecture, and strategic advisory. The ideal candidate will assess the current data landscape, propose and evaluate alternative solutions, and drive consensus across stakeholders to ensure successful implementation of modern data platforms and governance frameworks.
Key Responsibilities:
Executive Consulting & Stakeholder Alignment
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to CXO-level executives, translating business objectives into actionable data strategies.
  • Lead consulting engagements to assess current-state architecture and define future-state data platforms.
  • Facilitate stakeholder workshops to build consensus on solution direction, approach, and implementation timelines.
  • Collaborate with internal and client teams to ensure alignment of technical solutions with business priorities.
Architecture & Solution Design
  • Architect scalable, secure, and high-performance data solutions using SnowflakePower BIADFAzure Data LakeSigma Computing, and Collibra.
  • Define and document data architecture blueprints, integration patterns, and governance models.
  • Design and optimize data models using star schemadimensional modeling, and best practices for analytical workloads.
  • Ensure alignment with enterprise architecture standards and cloud-native design principles.
Strategy & Evaluation
  • Conduct risk-benefit analysis of solution alternatives and present findings to executive stakeholders.
  • Define data governance, metadata management, and data quality strategies.
  • Align architecture decisions with compliance, security, and performance requirements.
Implementation Oversight
  • Provide technical leadership during implementation, ensuring alignment with architectural vision.
  • Collaborate with engineering and delivery teams to ensure feasibility, scalability, and maintainability.
  • Support integration and migration efforts across cloud and on-prem platforms.

Required Skills & Experience:
  • 12+ years of experience in data architectureenterprise data platforms, and technology consulting.
  • Proven experience engaging with CXO-level stakeholders and leading strategic consulting engagements.
  • Deep expertise in technical skills related to Data and Analytics
  • Strong understanding of data modelingstar schemadimensional modeling, and BI reporting frameworks.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and presentation skills.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams to align technical solutions with business goals.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Technical Certifications in Snowflake, Azure, or Power BI.
  • Experience in regulated industries such as financial services or insurance.
  • Expertise with enterprise data strategydigital transformation, and cloud modernization.
