  • Develop strategies, roadmaps, principles, standards, and best practices for the data platform. Develop PoCs as required.
  • Support engineering teams in executing against strategies, roadmaps, principles, standards, and best practices for the data platform.
  • Provide coaching, mentoring and guidance for engineering and delivery teams
  • Analyze industry, technology, and market trends to introduce best practice frameworks/capability models tailored to control costs, provide higher quality and/or increase predictability of service delivery

Candidate Requirements

  • Expert understanding of data engineering fundamentals, implementation of modern data platforms, and data modelling characteristics
  • Familiarity with of information management practices, system development life cycle management, IT services management, and one or more architectural frameworks
  • Strong knowledge of AWS, Azure, GCP, Snowflake, or equivalent. Slight preference for GCP, but a track record of delivering quality data solutions outweighs specific technology affinity.
  • MDM knowledge (Reltio, Informatica, or similar) is a plus

Skills & Competencies
  • Exceptional structured problem-solving, strategic synthesis, and executive communication skills.
  • Strong capability in strategy facilitation, roadmap development, portfolio management, and prioritization across competing demands.
