Title Data Architect Full-Time/Part-Time Full-Time Description RiVidium Inc. is seeking a Senior Data Architect with expertise in data strategy, data governance, data modeling, and enterprise data architecture. This role is responsible for designing, implementing, and managing scalable data architectures that support organizational goals while ensuring data security, accessibility, and integrity.

Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement enterprise data strategies, governance frameworks, and architecture standards Design, build, and manage scalable data architectures to support business and mission needs Collaborate with database administrators, analysts, and stakeholders to ensure efficient and secure data access Lead data modeling efforts, including conceptual, logical, and physical data models Define how data is stored, integrated, consumed, and managed across systems and applications Establish and maintain master data management (MDM) and metadata management practices Create data architecture artifacts, including diagrams, data inventories, and architectural roadmaps Ensure data architectures scale to meet increasing data demands and evolving business requirements Define data quality standards and business rules to support data integrity and usability Document and communicate the relationship between business objectives and IT data solutions Develop strategy documents, roadmaps, and business cases; support planning and implementation efforts Collaborate across teams to promote data-driven decision-making and architectural best practicesMinimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field Equivalent project-related experience may be considered in lieu of a degree Minimum of ten (10) years of IT experience, including at least five (5) years in information systems design Proven experience designing and implementing enterprise data architectures and information solutions Strong expertise in data modeling, data classification, and enterprise data architecture frameworks Experience with system integration, interface design, and web-based architecture approaches Knowledge of metadata management, data warehousing, business intelligence, and data governance practices Familiarity with cloud and hybrid data environments and distributed data management Understanding of modern data architectures, including microservices and event-driven architectures Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skillsCore Competencies: Ability to translate business needs into scalable data solutions Strong conceptual thinking, pattern recognition, and problem-solving abilities Effective communication with executive leadership, business stakeholders, and technical teams Experience with design thinking and innovation methodologies Ability to quickly learn and apply new technologies and mentor team membersPreferred Qualifications: Experience with enterprise data modeling tools Experience with cloud-managed data services (AWS, Azure, or similar) Hands-on experience implementing data governance and analytics programs 3-5 years of experience as a data analyst Prior experience with Department of Defense (DoD), Department of Navy (DoN), or law enforcement environments * Familiarity with federal enterprise architecture frameworks and artifacts About the Organization Established in 2008, RiVidium, Inc.
