Mental Health Therapist

We can only consider LGPC, LCPC, LMSW, or LCSW candidates. This is a Part-Time position. Immediate hire. A therapist/Counselor is free to make their schedule.

The Mental Health Counselor/Therapist position offers:

$40-$45 per client visit ($1500 SIGNING BONUS!!)

Qualifications and Requirements for the Mental Health Counselor/Therapist position:

Master's Degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology or a related discipline

Active Independent license ( LGPC, LCPC, LMSW, or LCSW)

Knowledge of the mental health treatment process- completing intakes, developing treatment plans, applying mental health therapy techniques, monitoring progress, documenting progress, and using evidence-based tools to measure progress.

Ability to manage a caseload

Ability to maintain appropriate boundaries with clients while still building a good rapport.

Excellent communication skills

Responsibilities for the Mental Health Counselor/Therapist position:

Provide evidence-based mental health treatment to clients age 50 through the life span living in Anne Arundel County at their facilities.

Conduct individual therapy

Develop treatment plans and monitor treatment progress

Complete appropriate documentation in the EHR system

Assess client's needs and refer to community resources

Collaborate with client supports-family and community programs

Communicate with the program coordinator regarding treatment progress and the client's needs.

Experience:

Mental Health: 2 years (Preferred)
