Job Description:
Job Title: Oracle RMS Software Engineer
Location: Seattle, WA - Hybrid
Duration: 6 to 12 Months Contract
Exp: 10+ Years

A day in the life:
As Software Engineer - Inventory Systems, you will be working with a cross-functional team to identify functional requirements, design, develop, and implement Inventory, Supply Chain, and Finance solutions. You will ensure that the Inventory platform is well designed using best practices to meet the scalability and reliability required for growing business needs.
Roles & responsibilities:
  • Understand business requirements and Solution Approach for a wide range of business initiatives
  • Create Detail Technical Designs to build solutions with Oracle Retail Solution
  • Build, Test, and deploy solutions to satisfy business requirements
  • Designs, develops, and tests complex application software, and modifies and maintains existing applications based on standards.
  • Maintains and documents interface systems and resolves database performance problems as required.

Required Qualifications & Technical Expertise:
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science or related field
  • 6+ strong techno-functional experience in Oracle retail suites of applications (RMS).
  • Knowledge of RIB architecture, Oracle Retail Sales Audit (ReSA), and Retail Price Management (RPM).
  • Expert in Oracle PLSQL, Proc, UNIX shell scripting, integration Bus, and message services.
  • Experience in developing and designing complex applications revolving around RMS with an understanding of production support, and maintenance processes.
  • Experience working on service-oriented architecture.
  • Experience using a version control system such as GIT/GITLAB. TES or any other Job scheduler experience is a plus.
  • Experience in Agile development methodologies using SCRUM and Test-Driven development.
  • Experience with Kafka streaming, Kubernetes, and public cloud infrastructure (AWS) is a bonus.
  • Knowledge in event driven design and implementation patterns, containers and micro-services, REST APIs are a bonus.
  • Experience in using CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, maven/Gradle.
