Shop Ambassador
Newark, NJ – Full-Time, Onsite
$80,000–$110,000

Work Hours: 7:30am -4:30pm

Position Overview

We’re hiring a Shop Ambassador to serve as the key liaison between shop-floor employees and operations support teams. You’ll help with system troubleshooting, provide user guidance, gather feedback, and support efficient operations across the Assembly Department. This is a hands-on, people-first role for someone who thrives on solving problems, helping others, and keeping things moving. Strong communication skills, tech fluency, and a proactive mindset are must-haves.

Key Responsibilities

  • Guide and support shop employees with system and tool usage
  • Demonstrate workflows and assist with process clarity
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues or escalate when needed
  • Submit operational feedback, improvement ideas, and suggestions
  • Act as a communication bridge between shop staff and support teams
  • Collaborate with department staff and other ambassadors to maintain smooth daily operations

Qualifications

  • Prior experience in a manufacturing or production setting
  • Familiarity with shop-floor systems and tools (training provided)
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Comfortable solving problems and working with minimal supervision
  • Organized, dependable, and calm under pressure
  • Able to navigate computers and software confidently
  • Flexible and responsive to shifting priorities or production demands
