Part-Time Product Evaluator / Sensory Panelist

WHERE: Clark, NJ, 07066

DAYS: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday. There may be the occasional requirement to work additional hours on a Friday or at the weekend, subject to project demands, prior notice would be provided.

Hours: On average, 23 hours per week (but can flex from 20-35 hours/week). It is anticipated that your core hours would be 3 hours/day between 9am 1pm (Monday Thursday), there may be some flexibility as to when these hours could be worked between these times. Initial training will be taking place from 10am - 1pm. You will also accumulate additional hours for wearing and assessing the products throughout your normal day, outside of your core hours, these will be paid to you in addition to your core hours.

PAY: Starting at $15 per hour.

MMR Research Worldwide specializes in consumer and sensory research and works with large, international brands within the food, beverage & personal/household care sectors. This particular role would be working at one of our client sites who focuses purely on manufacturing beauty products.

About the role:

• You will be working individually and within a team to evaluate beauty products ranging from skin care, make-up to hair care products.
• You will be taught how to generate sensory descriptive vocabulary as a group (relating to the appearance, feel and fragrance of the product).
• No experience is required in this role as full training will be provided.

Requirements

• Must be willing to wear make-up, nail polish, skincare, and hair care products. These products may vary from your usual preference/style.
• On occasion and with advanced notice, you will be required to wear these products throughout your usual day (outside of your core working hours). For example, lipstick for up to 24 hours, foundation for up to 24 hours and nail polish for up to 10 days.
• Have the ability to follow detailed instructions and complete routine tasks quickly and accurately.
• Are a self-motivated individual with a scientific / analytical mind.
• Have the ability to articulate yourselves in fluent English in front of others.
