Description
- Conduct thorough evaluations of patients within both inpatient and outpatient settings, crafting tailored treatment protocols
- Deliver essential physical therapy services focused on enhancing mobility, strength, balance, and everyday function
- Work closely with nurses, doctors, case managers, and other rehabilitation professionals to achieve optimal patient outcomes
- Guide patients and their families through therapeutic objectives, discharge logistics, and necessary home exercises
- Maintain detailed records of assessments, treatments, and patient progress while adhering to organizational and regulatory standards
- Engage in team discussions and interdisciplinary meetings to coordinate effective care for patients
- Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) or equivalent credential from an accredited institution
- Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist
- CPR certification is highly preferred
- Additional specialized certifications (e.g., neurological, geriatric) are advantageous though not mandatory
- Prior experience is strongly preferred
