The Physical Therapist will primarily work onsite at our rehabilitation facility in Ashburn, Virginia, within a professional and supportive environment that encourages continuous learning and collaboration. • Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients with various conditions, developing tailored treatment plans to facilitate recovery from injuries, surgeries, or chronic illnesses.
• Utilize a diverse array of treatment modalities including exercise therapy, manual therapy, and innovative rehabilitation tools, ensuring effective pain management and mobility enhancement.
• Implement and adjust individualized treatment plans based on ongoing patient assessments while tracking progress meticulously through our electronic health record (EHR) system.
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers on rehabilitation techniques, adaptive strategies, and the use of assistive devices to promote safe and effective recovery.
• Engage in regular reevaluation sessions to modify treatment goals and methods as necessary, emphasizing patient-centered care and outcomes.
• Maintain documentation of all patient interactions and therapies in compliance with state regulations and organizational policies.
• Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities such as workshops, seminars, and peer learning sessions to stay current with best practices in physical therapy.

As a Physical Therapist at Legacy Physical Therapy, you will work with a diverse patient population that includes children, adults, and seniors suffering from a variety of conditions ranging from post-surgical recovery to chronic musculoskeletal disorders. Your role will be critical in helping these individuals regain independence and improve their quality of life through tailored interventions.

• Possession of a Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited institution.
• A valid Physical Therapy license in the State of Virginia.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively engage with patients and their families.
• Proficiency in computer skills, including familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems to document and track patient progress.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a flexible and dynamic environment, adapting to the needs of patients and the clinical team.

• A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience as a Physical Therapist is preferred but not mandatory; new graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Experience with specific populations such as pediatric, geriatric, or sports rehabilitation will be considered an asset.
