This full-time position is stationed onsite at our hospital facility, which is designed to foster a healing environment for both patients and staff. Our clinic operates from Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, with occasional flexibility required to meet the needs of our patients. You will collaborate closely with a team of other health care professionals, providing comprehensive injury management and rehabilitation services.

• Assist licensed Physical Therapists in implementing treatment plans to ensure effective patient rehabilitation.
• Administer routine physical therapy procedures including therapeutic exercises, modalities, and functional activities, following established protocols.
• Conduct assessments and monitor patients' conditions, actively documenting their responses and any changes in their status for supervisor review.
• Maintain accurate patient records, ensuring compliance with legal and organizational standards for documentation.
• Support patients in their rehabilitation journey by motivating and educating them on self-care strategies and transferable skills.

You will primarily work with adult patients undergoing treatment for orthopedic issues, including post-surgical recovery, sports injuries, and chronic pain management. Your expertise will help these individuals develop strength, improve function, and facilitate their return to everyday activities. Understanding the specific needs of this patient population is crucial in delivering effective therapy and achieving optimal patient outcomes.

• A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program is required.
• Possession of a current and unrestricted Physical Therapy Assistant license in Illinois or the ability to apply for licensure.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, enabling clear dialogue with patients, their families, and members of the healthcare team.

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in a clinical physical therapy role is preferred.
• Experience working in an inpatient or hospital-setting environment, dealing with complex patient needs.

The Physical Therapist Assistant role offers a competitive salary range of USD 60,000 to USD 80,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
