Position Overview

Serenity Physical Therapist is looking for a dedicated and compassionate Full-Time Clinical Physical Therapist to join our team in Woodbridge, New Jersey. As a vital member of our rehabilitation facility, you will be responsible for evaluating and treating a diverse range of patients, helping them regain their mobility and enhance their quality of life. Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' physical conditions and functional abilities, determining individualized treatment plans tailored to promote optimal recovery.
  • Utilize various therapeutic techniques including exercises, stretching maneuvers, and hands-on interventions to alleviate pain and restore mobility.
  • Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as needed, adapting to evolving patient needs and responses to therapy.
  • Document patient treatments, responses, and outcomes with accuracy, ensuring all records are maintained in adherence to legal and ethical standards.
  • Educate patients, families, and caregivers about therapeutic exercises, proper use of assistive devices, and ongoing care strategies to enhance recovery.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to contribute to holistic patient care and coordinate strategies that maximize therapeutic outcomes.
  • Engage in continuous learning through professional development workshops and participation in relevant professional societies.
Patient Population / Client Focus

The patient population at Serenity Physical Therapist encompasses individuals of all ages facing various health challenges, including post-operative recovery, chronic pain management, and rehabilitation from sports injuries. You will work with both pediatric and adult patients, applying your clinical skills to improve their physical function and overall wellbeing through personalized therapy.

Qualifications
  • A Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
  • Current and valid state license to practice Physical Therapy in New Jersey.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and colleagues.
  • Proficient in utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems for documentation and patient tracking.
  • Ability to adapt to varying patient needs and demonstrate flexibility in approaches to treatment.
Preferred Experience
