Job description

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil/Structural Engineering from an ABET accredited program.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience.
  • Mathcad or MATLAB experience (MathCAD Prime as well as GTSTRUDL experience is a must for Senior level engineers).
  • Finite Element Analysis software (no specific one).
  • Previous design verification qual/cert with commercial nuclear projects under 10CFR50 Appendix B QA programs.
  • Ability to perform piping analysis per ASME B31.1 as well as structural analysis is a plus.
  • Ability to prepare and review documents for pipe supports, building structure modifications, rigging load evaluations.
  • Steel per AISC Allowable Stress Design (known as ASD) approach (the older code years that commercial nuclear commonly uses).
  • Looking for modification engineer's vs analysis.
  • Experience with review qualifications and mechanical engineering. Anyone with lead experience on modifications would be great but not required.
