Kable Workforce Solutions is hiring a Press Brake Operator for our client. The Sheet Metal Forming Operator will be responsible for pulling parts, forming sheet metal according to blueprint specifications, and verifying part accuracy based on plots and summaries. This position also includes daily verification of machine safety, maintaining precision in forming processes, and ensuring all work meets quality and safety standards.
- Pull parts from baskets.
- Correctly forming sheet metal to various degrees of bend according to blueprint specifications.
- Responsible for making sure all parts are in the basket according to plots and summaries.
- Verification that machine is in safe working condition daily.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Technical school or Vocational School diploma preferred
- Experience with reading and interpreting blueprints.
- Must have previous knowledge of protractors and gauges.
- CNC Machine experience is preferred.
- Attention to detail and precision in work
- Safety focused mindset is required
- Experience working independently and as part of a team
- Ability to work in fast-paced environment.
- Ability to move or lift up to 50+ lbs.
- Ability to reach, grasp, hold, push, pull, bend, twist, squat, climb, kneel.
- Ability to utilize hand/eye coordination.
- Capability to stand for prolonged periods of time
- Communication skills.
