Isabel’s Market & Eatery is currently seeking individuals to join our Front of the House (FOH) staff.  Ideal candidates will have some experience in the food/retail industry, although it is not a requirement.  If you are a person that likes to provide excellent guest service, has a professional demeanor and likes to work with fun people, this position could be just for you. 

Primary responsibilities include greeting guests as they enter and then assisting them with a variety of offerings from our bakery, coffee bar, deli, grill, seafood/meat, beer/wine and retail grocery.  Apart from the FOH product offerings, Isabel’s also provides cooking classes and culinary events, catering services, and (inside and outside) bars that serve beer, wine and specialty cocktails. It’s a fun, fast-paced work environment that is ever changing as we grow.  

Position does require standing most of the time, providing excellent guest service, using a point of sale system (don’t worry, it’s user friendly), and being a fun, energetic team member. Pay is dependent on experience, but we share the tips equally, which generally average $5-7/hr in additional pay for every hour you work. It really adds up! Isabel’s is currently operating two shifts, Wednesday-Sunday, 7:00am-7:30pm, with Monday and Tuesday off.  Hours per week average 25-35, but there is some flexibility in scheduling, so if you need time off or only want to work three days/week, we can typically accommodate. Weekend work is usually required as that is our busiest time.
