Job Description

SUMMARY

Deliver food and alcoholic beverages to guests throughout the casino.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Includes the following:

·       Ensures excellent quality food and beverage products are served at all times.

·       Follows all alcohol safety standards including checking identification to ensure the minimum drinking age requirements are met.

·       Provides excellent guest service to external and internal guests.

·       Upholds cleanliness standards for station and shared areas of responsibility.

·       Performs financial transactions and processes guest payments for the good and services delivered.

·       Promotes the Big Six; encourages a fun, friendly, quick, comfortable, clean and safe environment.

·       Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

 

SUPERVISORY/MANAGEMENT AUTHORITY

No supervisory/management authority.

 

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED).  This is an entry level position with little to no previous work experience required.

·         Operations, Front of House- Knowledge of customer service techniques and approaches within a hospitality environment; ability to oversee and carry out tasks associated with customer-facing operations in casual and fine dining restaurants.

·         Safety, Injury Prevention, and Emergency Procedures- Knowledge of safety and emergency procedures; ability to prevent and treat injuries and sickness and to implement emergency procedures.

·         Service Excellence - Knowledge of customer service concepts and techniques; ability to meet or exceed customer needs and expectations and provide excellent service in a direct or indirect manner.

·         Standard Operating Procedures- Knowledge of established standard operating procedures (SOP); ability to design, implement and evaluate standard operating procedures affecting daily and strategic business operations in order to increase operational efficiency.

·         Teamwork- Knowledge of the necessity and value of teamwork; experience with; ability to work cooperatively towards shared goals and being supportive of others at all levels.

 

OTHER REQUIREMENTS

·         Must be at least 18 years of age.

·         Ability to obtain a food handler’s card.

·         Ability to pass all alcohol awareness training.

·         Ability to obtain a state issued alcoholic beverage license.

 

WORK ENVIRONMENT

Work may be performed in a variety of settings, including climate-controlled office settings and/or casino floors which includes exposure to second-hand smoke and crowd noise. Work requires standing for long periods of time which includes frequent bending and kneeling. Work requires lifting objects up to 50lbs. Work will require working varied shifts including, weekends and holidays, as needed.
