Controller - Restaurant Group

Our growing restaurant group is adding a Controller responsible for overseeing the financial operations of our restaurant locations. Duties include monitoring cash flow, meeting with the CEO to discuss the best practices for our company finances, and implementing policies to improve the organization as we continue to grow.

Controller Requirements and Qualifications

• Bachelor' s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a similar field - a Master' s Degree is highly desirable
• Must have a current CPA license
• 5+ years in a similar role and strong, progressive experience in restaurant accounting
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Proven track record creating and implementing financial policies and procedures in QSR/Fast-Casual/Fast-Food segment
• Experience with construction is a plus
• Team-oriented mentality with a strategic approach to growing a business

Controller Responsibilities

• Partner with peers and colleagues to strategically grow and strengthen financials
• Oversee finance/accounting team
• Maintain strategic focus on ROI
• Create profit projections, budgets, and financial reports, and recommend performance improvements
• Ensure internal controls are in place in regard to compliance with federal, state, and local regulatory laws for financial and tax reporting
