Echo Incorporated  ECHO Incorporated is seeking a skilled Material Handler to join our expanding team. This role involves ensuring the safe, accurate, and efficient movement of materials to designated item balance locations, as dictated by manufacturing or service orders. The Material Handler follows instructions from the Group Leader and supplies materials to line operators performing repetitive tasks. They use the shop floor system to request materials through the JIT function and notify the Group Leader of any material-related issues, such as shortages or inventory discrepancies at the line location. Additionally, they verify the packing list upon material arrival and assist the Group Leader in processing RTS (Return to Stock) when the schedule is complete or nearing completion. In the absence of the Group Leader, the Material Handler takes the lead and provides guidance to workers.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Ensure timely delivery of materials to line operators and maintain a clean, organized work area.
  • Request materials through the JIT system and verify packing lists upon delivery. Keep the Group Leader informed of parts shortages and inventory discrepancies.
  • Process RTS when the schedule is complete or nearing completion.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support the operation and overall functionality of the department and company.

Qualifications:

  • At least one year of general assembly experience in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to consistently lift 50 lbs. and maintain attention to detail.
