Job Description

We're looking for experienced back-of-the-house help at our Altamonte Mall Location. We're looking for 3 to 4 good Full time cooks to become part of our Booming Sports Restaurant Businesses in Altamonte Mall, starting pay $12.50 to $16.00 an hour (pending your back of the house experience) with 35 to 50 hours a week available for the right people.

We're not a big corporation, we're a mom-and-pop type business, so there are no major rules or rule books to follow, all we ask is you come to work, do your job, and make some decent cash. Health, Dental, and Vision insurance are available after 90 days.

Responsibilities:

Ensure the preparation station and the kitchen is set up and stocked.
Prepare simple components of each dish on the menu by chopping vegetables, cutting meat, and preparing sauces.
Report to the executive chef and follow instructions.
Make sure food preparation and storage areas meet health and safety standards.
Clean prep areas and take care of leftovers.
Stock inventory and supplies.
Cook menu items with the support of the kitchen staff.

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
Experience in a similar role.
In-depth knowledge of restaurant best practices and cooking methods.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Aptitude for multi-tasking.
Must be able to work cooperatively and efficiently in a team.
