Dining Services Director

The Dining Services Director is responsible for meeting or exceeding all standards of quality, productivity, customer service to all residents, prospective residents and guests in all aspects of their dining experience. Evaluates, coordinates, trains, motivates, monitors performance, schedules and supervises department staff in accordance with company policy and at the direction of the Executive Chef. Make recommendations to the Executive Chef with respect to staff evaluations, merit pay increases, reprimands, disciplinary actions and terminations. overseeing the dining room and ensuring that food is served in a friendly, courteous manner and with a helpful attitude. Perform a variety of duties in and around the dining area. Reports to: Executive Chef.

Work Experience Qualifications
- 2+ Years’ Experience as Dining Room Supervisor in a high-volume kitchen
- Experience as a supervisor or head cook in a health care property
- Previous Experience in a Senior Living Community preferred
Educational Qualifications
- High school education or equivalent
- College courses or other education in food service and/or management preferred.
- Completion of an ADA approved course in quantity food purchasing, production, service and nutrition, preferred.)
