Analytics, Reporting & Visualization

  • Oversee design, development, and deployment of dashboards and reports in Tableau, ensuring accuracy, usability, and consistency across the organization.
  • Define and maintain data definitions, hierarchies, and governance standards in collaboration with data management teams.
  • Partner with business analysts to enhance self-service analytics capabilities.
  • Drive adoption of standardized BI assets to promote a single source of truth.

Technical & Data Understanding

  • Collaborate with engineering teams on data ingestion and transformation pipelines (FiveTran, Matillion, Snowflake).
  • Understand and guide data modeling principles (staging, core, and presentation layers) to support analytical and reporting needs.
  • Leverage Secoda for data cataloging, lineage documentation, and metadata management.
  • Contribute to data quality initiatives, ensuring trust in analytics outputs.

Governance & Continuous Improvement

  • Partner with the data governance function to ensure alignment with enterprise data standards and compliance policies.
  • Identify opportunities for automation, data reuse, and operational efficiency.
  • Monitor BI system performance and user adoption; propose enhancements where needed.
  • Maintain awareness of industry trends and emerging technologies in data and analytics.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Data Analytics, Computer Science, or related field.
  • 4+ years of experience in Data Analytics, BI Product Management, or Data Product Ownership-preferably within the Telecom sector.
  • Proven experience with:

    • FiveTran and Matillion (familiarity with ETL/ELT workflows and data pipelines)
    • Secoda (data catalog and documentation management) or similar tool
  • Strong understanding of data modeling concepts (star/snowflake schemas, fact/dimension tables).
  • Experience defining and tracking Telecom KPIs (subscriber metrics, churn, ARPU, network utilization, etc.).
  • Solid grasp of SQL and ability to interpret or validate analytical queries.
