The Regional Master Data Management (MDM) Manager II independently manages complex initiatives, mentors stakeholders on master data management best practices, and drives alignment between regional business requirements and global data strategies to maximize the value of enterprise master data.
Responsibilities
- Lead the regional execution of global master data governance strategies, policies, standards, and operating procedures across assigned data domains.
- Partner with global governance teams to define, implement, and continuously improve master data standards, governance frameworks, and stewardship processes that support business objectives.

- Ensure alignment of global and regional master data definitions, business rules, and governance requirements across enterprise transactional systems, MDM platforms, integrations, and analytical environments.
- Establish, maintain, and govern enterprise data standards, including mandatory attributes, naming conventions, reference data usage, validation criteria, deduplication rules, survivorship logic, and field-level quality controls.
- Lead the identification, analysis, root cause investigation, and resolution of complex master data quality issues impacting multiple systems, functions, and business units.
- Monitor data quality metrics, performance indicators, and compliance requirements; identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities; and drive corrective and preventive actions in partnership with business and IT stakeholders.
- Direct large-scale data remediation, cleansing, conversion, reconciliation, and mass update activities to ensure data integrity, consistency, and operational continuity across enterprise platforms.
- Provide governance reporting, audit support, compliance documentation, and data quality metrics to support regulatory, internal control, and business requirements.
- Collaborate with enterprise architecture, integration, and application teams to design, validate, optimize, and govern master data structures, interfaces, integration scenarios, and data management solutions.
- Provide functional leadership and advanced support for MDM applications, including configuration recommendations, enhancement prioritization, security controls, and process optimization.
- Lead master data readiness assessments and governance activities supporting system implementations, upgrades, acquisitions, digital transformation initiatives, automation efforts, and organizational change programs.
- Validate and approve master data requirements supporting integrations, business process improvements, technology enhancements, and enterprise transformation initiatives.
- Serve as the primary escalation point for critical cross-functional and cross-system master data issues, ensuring timely resolution, risk mitigation, and stakeholder alignment.
- Build and maintain effective partnerships with business data stewards, functional leaders, IT teams, analytics organizations, and global stakeholders to promote governance adoption, data accountability, and enterprise-wide alignment.
- Provide guidance, mentoring, and knowledge sharing to data stewards and business users on MDM tools, governance processes, and master data management best practices.
- Partner with analytics, reporting, and business intelligence teams to ensure trusted, consistent, and governed master data supports enterprise reporting and decision-making.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance master data quality, governance maturity, operational effectiveness, controls, documentation, and business outcomes.
- Support and influence enterprise data migration, modernization, transformation, and global rollout initiatives to ensure alignment with long-term data management and governance strategies.
