The Boeing Company is seeking aMaster Data Management Business Analyst (Experienced or Senior) to support their Enterprise Services Technology and Systems Data Management Office team in one of the following locations:

This position sits within Boeing's Enterprise Services organization. Enterprise Services is a team of 2,500+ employees whose collective mission is to enable the build of Boeing's products. Enterprise Services provides strategic partnership and support to all Boeing business units through multiple service towers - creating outsized impact and value across the Enterprise. The individual in this role would be a part of Enterprise Services Technology and Systems Data Management team.

We are looking for aMaster Data Management Business Analyst (Experienced or Senior) to support our transformation journey. This person should be curious, looking for insights in data that can turn into actionable and measurable outcomes, and a storyteller at their core.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Manages end-to-end master data maintenance in SAP MDG instances for Enterprise Services master datasets including equipment assets, operational technology assets, property assets, etcetera
  • Gathers and analyzes business requirements for Master Data Management (MDM) projects and work with stakeholders to define master data standards and business rules
  • Creates critical data and asset elements with technical input from the business stakeholders including asset creation processes and workflows
  • Documents functional requirements, user stories, and process flows
  • Analyzes data quality issues and works with data stewards on the team to recommend improvements
  • Performs data and process mapping between source and target systems
  • Collaborates with developers, data architects, quality assurance (QA) teams, and data stewards
  • Supports testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and production deployment
  • Helps establish and maintain data governance policies, communicates data quality issues and data conflict reconciliations to business stakeholders


Key Relationships & Stakeholders:

  • Enterprise Services Executive Leadership Team
  • Data Science and Information Technology (IT)
  • Service Tower Leadership (Indirect Supply Chain, Real Estate, Facilities & Asset Management, Executive Flight)
  • Build external relationships with vendors and/or consultant parties

This position is hybrid. This means that the selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options. This is at the hiring team's discretion and could potentially change in the future.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 3+ years of experience as a business analyst or a data analyst
  • 3+ years of experience as an analyst working with SAP Master Data Governance
  • 3+ years of experience with database design, data modeling, or object modeling
  • 3+ years of experience with agile development methodologies (Scrum, Lean, Kanban, etc.) and agile project management tools (JIRA, TFS, VersionOne, etc.)
  • 3+ years of experience with cloud-platform technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP)

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • 5+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Do you have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Computer Information Systems or a closely related field
  • Experience with interpersonal and communication skills
  • Experience demonstrating a continuous improvement mindset
  • Experience taking problems, creating solutions, and executing to deliver value for customers
  • Experience in mentoring and coaching employees
  • Experience delivering business and data analytics solutions in the manufacturing, engineering, aviation or energy sector is a plus
  • Experience collaborating across the globe
  • Willing and able to travel up to 20% domestically

Summary pay range for: AZ, MO, SC (Experience, Level 3): $117,300 - $158,700

Summary pay range for: AZ, MO, SC (Senior, Level 4): $142,800 - $193,200
