These skills ensure high-quality, consistent data that supports strategic decision-making and operational efficiency across the organization.

Is MDM outdated?

Master Data Management (MDM) remains a vital function for Senior MDM professionals, as organizations continue to rely on accurate, consistent data across systems. While new data technologies like data lakes and cloud platforms have emerged, MDM practices are evolving to integrate with these tools, ensuring data quality and governance are maintained. Job description

Are you fluent in Informatica MDM and comfortable in data design conversations? Do you enjoy driving end-to-end automation through UiPath and Informatica’s intelligent automation capabilities? Are you a leader with a strategic mindset? If so, then we’d like you to join our dedicated team as Senior Master Data Management (MDM) Manager.

About the Role:

The Sr MDM Manager will lead Hajoca’s MDM operations team as we implement our Informatica Data Management Cloud (IDMC) platform. This player-coach role requires both strategic oversight and direct technical contribution. The person in this position will own the day-to-day health of Hajoca’s master data ecosystem — spanning product, vendor, customer, and location domains — and will be accountable for the quality and integrity of master data across all consuming systems, including Eclipse ERP, Boomi integrations, and downstream digital channels.

In this role you will:

Lead the MDM Platform (Informatica IDMC)

  • Serve as the hands-on Informatica subject matter expert for MDM configuration, data quality rules, and stewardship workflows (CAI / CDI / Data Quality).

  • Own the configuration and ongoing enhancement of the MDM data model: business entities, attributes, relationships, hierarchies, and reference data across all data domains.
  • Design and maintain match & merge rules, survivorship logic, and duplicate resolution workflows to ensure golden record accuracy.

  • Manage stewardship UI configuration, exception queues, approval workflows, and the end-to-end data change lifecycle.
  • Lead release planning including cutover, rollback readiness, and regression testing for all MDM platform changes.

  • Maintain awareness of integration ingress/egress patterns (Informatica CAI / Boomi) to effectively partner with IT on source system onboarding and downstream distribution; serve as the MDM-side subject matter expert in integration design conversations.

Design Data & Ensure Quality

  • Advise on physical, logical, and conceptual data model decisions and their downstream impact across Eclipse ERP and integrated applications.

  • Partner with Data Domain Owners to implement and operationalize the data standards and policies defined by the governance function; translate governance requirements into MDM platform configuration and team workflows.
  • Maintain accountability for MDM operations functions including application configuration and DQ monitoring; coordinate with IT's Integration Analyst on integration-related changes and defects.

  • Participate in the Master Data Council as the operational representative, providing platform insights and surfacing data quality trends and risk areas to inform governance decisions led by the Data Governance function.
  • Own data quality scorecards and KPI dashboards and drive measurable improvement in completeness, validity, and consistency metrics.

Automate & Process Innovation (UiPath & AI)

  • Lead automation strategy and execution using UiPath RPA to eliminate manual data entry.

  • Identify, scope, and deliver automation opportunities.
  • Collaborate with the business to transition from manual processing to high-value data stewardship roles.

  • Maintain and evolve an automation roadmap aligned with maturity milestones and Hajoca’s strategy.

Lead & Develop a Team

  • Manage recruit, hire, develop and train a team of analysts.

  • Set clear performance goals, provide ongoing coaching, and foster a culture of data ownership and continuous improvement.
  • Build team capability through Informatica training curriculum, cross-training on automation tools, and structured onboarding for new platform roles.

  • Manage the MDM operational backlog: prioritize defect resolution, enhancement requests, and automation initiatives in partnership with Data Domain Owners.
  • Serve as escalation point for data quality issues and downstream operational impacts; partner with IT's Integration Analyst to triage and resolve integration-related failures.

Engage with Stakeholder & Collaborate Cross-Functionally

  • Collaborate closely with IT's Integration Analyst (Boomi / CAI) and IT architecture team to align on integration design, new source onboarding, and data controls in Eclipse ERP — providing MDM domain context and requirements while IT owns the technical implementation.

  • Work with procurement, finance, and supply chain stakeholders to align product data standards with business transactional needs.
  • Translate business requirements into technical MDM and automation solutions; communicate tradeoffs and timelines to both technical and non-technical audiences.

About You:

  • 7 or more years of experience in Master Data Management, data operations, or a related data platform role

  • 3 or more years of management experience
  • Hands-on experience with Informatica IDMC
  • Experience with automation tooling (UiPath, Power Automate, or equivalent RPA platforms) including bot design and deployment

  • Informatica certification (MDM, CAI, CDI, or IDMC Associate/Professional) preferred.
  • UiPath certification (Associate or Developer level) preferred.

Our ideal candidate will also:

  • Have a working knowledge of data modeling concepts (physical, logical, conceptual) and their application in enterprise MDM environments.

  • Be familiar with integration patterns (REST/SOAP APIs, JSON/XML, Boomi or equivalent iPaaS, source-to-target mappings) sufficient to collaborate effectively with IT integration engineers — hands-on ownership of integration tooling is not required.
  • Have a demonstrated ability to manage an operational backlog.

  • Have experience in distribution, wholesale, or supply chain environments; familiarity with product, vendor, or pricing data domains
  • Have exposure to ERP systems (Eclipse or similar) and their data integration patterns.

  • Have experience with PIM platforms and product catalog enrichment workflows.
  • Be familiar with data governance concepts and operating models sufficient to operationalize policies and standards set by a separate governance function.

  • Have SQL proficiency for data validation, profiling, and reconciliation.

  • Possess leadership qualities and be viewed as a leader.
  • Have experience promoting a productive and positive team environment, coaching staff to do their best work to achieve the highest levels of customer satisfaction.

  • Demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Be able to communicate openly, clearlyand effectively and able to translate and communicate technical concepts to non-technicalleadership.
