Job Title: Product Data & ERP Analyst
Job Description
The Product Data & ERP Analyst supports the management and maintenance of product information, costing, pricing, and master data within the ERP environment. This role ensures that product records, formulas, yields, customer pricing, and operational data remain accurate and consistent across the organization. The analyst works extensively within ERP systems and Excel, manages large data sets, and partners closely with operations, purchasing, sales, and leadership to support informed business decisions and maintain the integrity of critical product and pricing information.
Responsibilities
  • Create, maintain, and update product master records, item numbers, SKU information, formulas, yields, and pricing data within the ERP system.
  • Manage product setup and configuration to ensure accuracy across multiple business units, locations, and customer accounts.
  • Support costing and pricing administration by updating product costs, customer pricing structures, contract pricing, and margin-related data.
  • Analyze large datasets to identify inconsistencies, data integrity issues, and opportunities for process improvement.
  • Perform routine audits of product, pricing, and cost information to ensure accuracy and compliance with company standards.
  • Import, export, cleanse, and manipulate data using Excel and ERP reporting tools.
  • Collaborate with purchasing, sales, operations, and leadership teams to resolve data discrepancies and implement requested changes.
  • Assist with maintenance of customer-specific pricing agreements and contract requirements.
  • Generate reports and provide analytical support related to pricing, product performance, and operational initiatives.
  • Support ongoing ERP optimization efforts, data cleanup projects, and system enhancements.
  • Document processes and maintain accurate records of changes within the system.
  • Provide troubleshooting support related to product, pricing, costing, and master data concerns.

Essential Skills
  • Proven experience working within ERP systems, preferably in a product, costing, or pricing data environment.
  • Strong product master data management experience, including maintaining SKU records and product attributes.
  • Hands-on experience with pricing administration and costing analysis.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including vlookup, pivot tables, and data manipulation.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with large volumes of product and operational data.
  • Experience with inventory management, merchandise planning, and SKU management.
  • Strong analytical abilities and attention to detail when managing complex datasets.
  • Process-oriented mindset with a focus on data governance and continuous improvement.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with operations, purchasing, sales, and leadership teams.
  • Comfort working in an ERP-driven environment with responsibility for data accuracy and integrity.

Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Experience with Canopy ERP or similar ERP platforms.
  • Experience in food manufacturing or distribution environments.
  • Exposure to supply chain and purchasing functions.
  • Experience supporting contract pricing and customer-specific pricing agreements.
  • Familiarity with manufacturing processes and process improvement initiatives.
  • Interest in developing as a subject matter expert in ERP systems, pricing, costing, analytics, and business operations.
  • Desire to take ownership of a critical business function with high visibility across the organization.
  • Ability to support ERP optimization initiatives and contribute to improved data governance practices.

Work Environment
This role is fully onsite in Hammond, IN, within a modern facility that is approximately two years old. The position offers close collaboration with executive leadership, including direct interaction with stakeholders, in a setting where ERP systems and advanced Excel tools are central to daily work. The organization is growing, providing a dynamic environment where the analyst serves as the primary owner of product master data, pricing, costing, and ERP administration. Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $50000.00 - $85000.00/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
