About this opportunity... The Master Data Office (MDO) drives decision accuracy by defining, organizing, and centrally maintaining core reference data used by all systems and reports. The newly created Data Design team initiates and analyzes master data project requests to drive holistic solutions and data integrity

The team facilitates and executes cross-functional projects for new Master Data, process improvements, and special initiatives impacting core reference data. The Lead, Master Data Management is a cross-functional role that will facilitate and deliver strategic projects; ensure best practices are being adhered to by team members. Ideal candidate has strong project, delivery and change experience, process development, and ability to collaborate effectively with technical and business teams.

Areas of focus include business case development, requirements gathering and documentation, user support, change management, relationship management, and project management activities. Being able to connect the dots and develop a point of view is the key to success in this role. The base salary range for this role is $99,900 - $130,000.

The base salary range is dependent on factors including, but not limited to, experience, skills, qualifications, relevant education, certifications, seniority, and location. The range listed is just one component of the total compensation package for employees. Other rewards vary by position and location.

What you will do and what you will learn... Be a subject matter expert to inform and drive forward strategic and process improvement initiatives Develop and execute on plans for critical projects including requirements gathering, user acceptance testing, and business communication activities Define metrics to measure progress towards strategic, tactical and operational goals; delivery, knowledge sharing, engagement Develop a partnership acting as a liaison between technical and business teams to understand, troubleshoot, interpret and advise on business needs and/or problems Lead and influence cross-functional teams to achieve their objectives and resolve or escalate issues around data management and governance Set expectations with partners including business and IT around timing of all new business demands Regularly partner with IT on systemic enhancements and changes (STIBO MDM and downstream applications) Create and document frameworks, processes, and lessons learned to design new solutions or approaches Conduct in-depth analysis to support business cases, solutions, recommendations, and data cleansing activity; comfort and ability to analyze large data sets Develop and collect data assets to support the evolution of the Master Data Library; ensure assets are up to date based on changes in requirements or business needs Document comprehensive business requirements, process documentation to ensure smooth transition; repeatable processes Promote adoption of data governance processes by establishing clear understanding (conducting periodic training/workshops), and improving the MDO governance processes based on ever changing needs of the business and other partners Deliver on change management strategies; support activities that transform Ross' culture to see master data as an asset; advocate for governance What you need to be successful...
