Job description

We are looking for an experienced SAP Master Data Resource to provide hands-on operational support for the master data function. This Long-term Contract position is centered on maintaining accurate core data, supporting business users, and helping ensure efficient day-to-day data governance activities. The ideal candidate brings strong master data stewardship expertise, works confidently across business teams, and can contribute to process consistency and data quality across key domains.


Responsibilities:

• Manage daily master data activities across key domains such as customer, vendor, product, and material records while maintaining accuracy and consistency.

• Partner with business stakeholders to address data-related questions, resolve operational issues, and support ongoing master data needs.

• Review, create, update, and validate master data entries in accordance with established governance standards and approval workflows.

• Monitor data quality, identify discrepancies, and take corrective action to improve reliability and completeness across records.

• Support workflow-based master data processes by coordinating requests, tracking progress, and helping ensure timely completion.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to document business needs and translate them into effective master data support practices.

• Use reporting and spreadsheet tools to analyze data trends, perform validations, and support operational decision-making.

• Contribute to continuous improvement efforts by recommending practical enhancements to master data controls, stewardship practices, and support processes.

• 6+ years of experience in master data management, data stewardship, or a closely related function.
• Proven background supporting one or more master data domains, including customer, vendor, product, or material data.
• Hands-on experience working with workflow-driven data processes and established data quality controls.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively with business partners and support operational stakeholders.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data review, validation, and analysis.
• Familiarity with tools such as Promenta, Winshuttle, or comparable master data platforms is preferred.
• Experience in retail, consumer products, or shared services environments is an advantage.
• Exposure to business documentation, configuration-related support, APIs, scripting, or Salesforce-related environments is helpful.
