Englewoods On Dearborn Restaurant is a high energy restaurant that specializes in great food and customer service while offering Award Winning Music from around the world. We have won best of Englewood "Finalist" for best Dinner and best live Music 11 years!

Looking for a Grill Cook that can take charge of the prep, set up, and breakdown/closing of the station. Works well with others; has a can-do attitude and participates in a healthy, clean and crew orientated kitchen: being just one segment of the restaurant as a while. Agreed with and strives towards the goals and aspirations of the owners while mutually benefiting gratefully from steady employment.

We are a great team and are looking for team members for our kitchen to bring us to the next level of Best in Englewood for Dinner.

We have a lot of fun; we work hard as a team: front of the house and back of the house work well together to deliver a great experience for our guests.

General Accountabilities

• Inspects and clean food preparation areas or serving areas to ensure safe and sanitary food-handling practices.
• Ensures food is stored and cooked at correct temperature by regulating temperature of ovens, broilers, grills, and roasters.
• Ensures freshness of food and ingredients by checking for quality, keeping track of old and new items, and rotating stock.
• Seasons and cooks food according to recipes or personal judgment and experience.
• Grill meat, fish and other food items prepared on the grill.
• Observes and tests foods to determine if they have been cooked sufficiently.
• Close station nightly by cleaning grill, fryer, cart and coolers – top and bottom. Wipe walls. Strain Flour & Egg Station.
