Cafe Attendant

Overview:
Emerald Bowl is a family owned and operated bowling center in Houston Texas that opened in
1978 by Hall of Fame member, Don Ellis. We see a lot of bowlers come through our doors.
Some are world-renowned champions of local and national fame, while others have never
bowled a strike in their life. The entire in-center experience is enhanced by our Café
Attendants as they provide excellent customer service to our guests.

As our cafe attendant you will perform a variety of short order fry cook tasks such as operating
a grill, microwave oven, and deep fryer. You will serve customers at our counter by receiving
orders and payments.

Who You Are:
Your bowling skills might be so-so, but your customer service skills are essential! You must be
outgoing and willing to provide our customers with what they need. Must be willing to work in
a fast-pace environment.

Essential Duties:

• Be friendly and inviting to our guests.
• Operate the cash register when receiving orders and payments.
• Set up food service areas.
• Ring sales at the counter and follow our cash control procedures.
• Prep all food and restock.
• Performs housekeeping task to ensure proper standards of appearance, cleanliness and safety.

• HS Diploma or equivalent restaurant/hospitality experience
• Proven success in school/previous job experience
• Strong customer service skills, and reliability.
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment

Our team member is expected to portray exceptional customer service skills, be a team player,
have the ability to operate a point of sale system while handling money and be able to stand on
their feet for long periods at a time.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Salary: $10.00 per hour
