Job Summary

The Bowling Center Staff will service the needs of multiple positions in the Bowling Center including the food service counter, the bowling registration desk, and overall floor service.

Job Description

Serves beer to guests at bar while practicing alcohol consumption awareness. Verifies age drinking limit and recognizes when guests have reached their drinking limit and refuses to provide additional alcoholic beverages If needed, escalates the situation and issues/complaints to manager.Oversees the registration desk including lane assignments, bowling shoe rental and enters orders into Point of Sale (POS) system and performs cash-handling procedures as prescribed in casino policies and procedures. Greets and serves guests at tables throughout bowling/bar.Keeps surrounding work area clear and free from trash, debris, glasses, plates, etc. This includes floors (vacuuming/sweeping), walls, fixtures, table tops, counter tops, seats and service areas.Communicates with guests with a smile, demonstrates confidence, and encourages all guests to feel unique and special. Ensures guests are completely satisfied with their service.Cleans restrooms, which includes taking out the trash, cleaning the mirrors and floors, wiping down the sink and etc.Understands and practices good safety and sanitation procedures. Stays current on various casino and VOC events and promotions in order to respond to customer inquiries.Maintains a thorough knowledge of the menus in order to provide service to guests.Adheres to all company and department policies, procedures, and standard operating guidelines.Adheres to all hygiene and safety standards. Ensures that a clean, safe, hazard-free work environment is maintained.Performs all related and compatible duties as assigned.Does not provide supervision to others.Must be 18 years of age or older. High school diploma, GED or equivalent required.Must obtain and maintain T.I.P.S. Certificates throughout employment. Food Handler's Certificate required. California Responsible Beverage Service Training and Certification required upon hire.2 or more years of experience working in a Bowling Center. Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office, Word, Excel and Outlook Good verbal, written and interpersonal skillsMust be flexible to work different shifts and days of the week including holidays.
