Job Summary: Cozzini, LLC is seeking a skilled Field Service Technician to join our team of industry professionals. This is a hands-on role focused on servicing industrial food processing equipment. You’ll be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of our industrial food processing equipment and systems. You’ll travel to customer sites to troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve technical issues—ensuring our equipment operates at peak performance.This position requires expertise in electrical, mechanical, hydraulics, and high/low voltage systems. The ideal candidate brings a strong background in electro-mechanical systems, a proactive mindset, and the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with customers. Key Responsibilities:

  • Travel to customer sites to install, maintain, and repair Cozzini equipment and systems.
  • Perform preventive maintenance to ensure optimal equipment performance and reliability.
  • Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, PLC, and panel view issues with precision and efficiency.
  • Partner with customers to understand their operational needs and provide expert guidance on equipment use and upkeep.
  • Accurately complete service reports and documentation to ensure clear communication and traceability.
  • Deliver on-site and remote troubleshooting support via phone or digital platforms.
  • Train customers on equipment operation, safety protocols, and best practices to maximize performance and safety.
  • Adhere to all company and customer safety standards, maintaining a secure work environment at all times.
  • Manage tools, equipment, and spare parts inventory to support effective service delivery.
  • Stay current on emerging technologies, product updates, and industry trends to continually enhance service quality.

Requirements:
  • 1+ years of field service experience, preferably within the meat industry.
  • Strong knowledge of electro-mechanical systems, troubleshooting, and repair techniques.
  • Familiarity with PLC systems and control panels.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on customer satisfaction.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and diagrams.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex technical information to non-technical users.
  • Must be able to work independently and manage time effectively while on-site.
  • Ability to travel extensively, sometimes on short notice, and provide after-hours support as needed.
  • Valid driver’s license required.
  • Bilingual proficiency in Spanish is an asset.
