Command Post Technologies, Inc. is seeking a hands-on, detail-oriented IT Systems Administrator to help support and improve our internal IT infrastructure. This role is ideal for someone early in their IT leadership journey who thrives in a fast-paced, security-conscious environment and enjoys solving problems before they disrupt productivity. You'll work closely with senior IT leadership, system administrators, and users across the company to manage Microsoft-based systems and ensure a smooth and secure experience for our employees, both in-office and remote.

  • Support and maintain Microsoft 365, Teams, SharePoint, Azure AD, and other Microsoft-based tools
  • Help lead endpoint management (Windows laptops, mobile devices, etc.) and user account provisioning
  • Monitor network and system performance and assist with troubleshooting
  • Experience with Unifi systems is beneficial
  • Coordinate basic cybersecurity best practices (patching, backups, access controls)
  • Document processes and help build simple SOPs and IT checklists
  • Provide day-to-day support to users, escalating issues when needed
  • Collaborate with HR and department leads to support new hires and offboarding processes
  • Participate in improving IT systems and recommending better tools or workflows

Requirements

Security Clearance: Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information

  • 3-5 years of IT experience, preferably in a government contracting or high-security setting
  • Strong communication skills
  • 3-5 years of experience administering Microsoft 365 in a corporate environment 
  • Sec+, Net+, CySA+, and/or CCNA are nice to have (preferred, not required)
  • U.S. Citizen (required due to government contracting regulations)
  • Experience supporting NIST 800-171 or CMMC-aligned environments
