Job Description
This position provides support for clinical diagnostic testing in the area of infectious disease and cell therapy, including COVID-19 clinical testing. It also requires the preparation of patient samples and the computerized processing of test results. Compensation Based on Expereince.
Qualifications:
General laboratory experience, preferably in a Molecular/Cellular Biology or Immunology environment.
Major Responsibilities:
- Maintenance of clinical samples in preparation for both PCR and Rapid COVID-19 analysis.
- Perform routine laboratory techniques.
- Process and maintain test data for appropriate distribution.
- Other duties as assigned.
Minor Responsibilities:
- Maintain clean, safe organized work areas.
Key Competencies:
- Familiarity with basic laboratory equipment and computerized data input.
- Physical Requirements
- Able to use both hands and fingers to manipulate lab equipment and computer.
- Ability to lift and carry 25 pounds.
- Hepatitis immunization is required for this position.
- COVID-19 vaccination.
