Job description

Care New England (CNE) is a leading non-profit health system located in Rhode Island. We provide comprehensive quality, cost effective patient centric care through the following delivery networks: Women & Infants Hospital, Kent Hospital, Butler Hospital, the Providence Center, VNA, Care New England Medical Group (CNEMG), and Integra. We are academically affiliated with the Warren Alpert School of Medicine at Brown University and University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine.

We are seeking a dedicated and collaborative Endocrinologist to join our growing team in Providence, Rhode Island

Endocrinology Position Spotlight

  • Stellar Team consists of endocrinologists, nurse practitioners and clinical pharmacists with expertise in endocrinology and diabetes care
  • Full time, 80% clinical & 20% patient charting - mainly outpatient with coverage of inpatient consults at Women & Infants Hospital with rotational call ( Phone/Pager only)
  • Subspecialty interests supported
  • Provide high-quality care for patients with a broad range of endocrine disorders, including diabetes, thyroid, adrenal, pituitary, and other hormonal conditions including diabetes and general endocrine care in pre-pregnant and pregnant patients
  • Collaboration with specialty teams at Women & Infants Hospital, including OB Medicine, Maternal-Fetal Medicine, and Womens Health
  • Precepting of medical students and residents available
