Position Overview:

As part of the talented General Assembly team, you will be responsible for joining parts or components to create finished products in a manufacturing setting.

Essential Functions:

  • Operate and monitor equipment and replenish materials as needed.
  • Visually inspect production run and document results.
  • Determine and report malfunctions to appropriate parties.
  • Maintain cleanliness of equipment and assigned area.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and company policies and procedures.
  • The position will require physical strength, agility, dexterity and standing for extended periods.

Required Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • 1+ year of general work experience
  • Prior production/manufacturing machine operation experience preferred
  • Ability to operate manufacturing equipment
  • Communicate effectively both verbally and written
  • Dedicated to the personal safety of everyone

Working Conditions:

  • Standing up to 8 hours per day
  • Constantly walking from cell to cell
  • Occasionally lifting not up to 50 lbs
  • Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) such as safety glasses and safety footwear is required.

The anticipated pay range for this position is $20.47, hourly. The actual base pay offered will vary depending on multiple factors including job-related knowledge/skills, relevant experience, business needs, and geographic location.

At Brunswick, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top end of the salary range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent upon the specifics of the candidate's qualifications and the business context.
