Corporate Controller

Automotive Dealer Group that serves SW VA, WV and NC is seeking individual to oversee all accounting, human resources and administrative functions. This position requires a working knowledge of all areas of the Auto dealer business, experience in a consolidated office environment, the ability to multi-task and the ability to lead. Key Objectives:

• Show leadership and people skills in a way that supports company's mission statement, policy and procedures while following set essential traits and principles.
• Develop managers and staff to show continuing improvement and meeting individual training goals.
• Oversee all aspects of accounting and staff - general ledgers, accounts receivable, accounts payable, billing, titling, and payroll.
• Coordinate with departmental managers to ensure all documents are accurate and received in a timely manner.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements, design and implement.

• Must have experience in consolidated office management
• Degree in accounting - Bachelor's preferred but not required
• Ability to organize, multi-task and prioritize
• Work both independently and as a part of a team
• Knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and dealership accounting software (CDK) a plus
