Cross Border Truck Driver

We are expanding again!

Our Niagara Falls, NY – Toronto, ON operation is seeking qualified cross border drivers to assist with our rapidly expanding transborder division. This role requires the ability to load/unload freight at our warehouse location in Sanborn, NY and deliver to client, supplier and/or client-customer locations in the Greater Toronto and Buffalo areas.

Qualifications/Competencies:

• Must hold a valid commercial driver’s license. CDL Required in US.
• Able to drive 53ft. tractor/trailer
• Able to cross the border on a daily basis between Canada and US
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds
• Good communication skills
• Must have clean drug and alcohol testing
• Valid Fast Card (Not required but preference given to drivers with Fast Card)

Work Hours and Environment:

• Normal working hours for this position are Monday - Friday ranging from starting at 6:00AM - 10:00 AM and working minimum of 10 hour shift., however, working beyond these hours may be required by business needs. Sometimes start and finish times may change due to client needs so flexibility in this area is needed.
• Drivers will operate a tractor trailer (53 ft. with day cab), for the purpose of picking up and/or delivering freight from customer, supplier and/or company locations within U.S. and Canada.
• The driver will complete documentation pertaining to driving and delivery duties (i.e. log book, equipment inspection reports, records distance traveled)
• The driver will unload freight picked up from customer and/or company locations utilizing material handling equipment when required. (Pump truck, lift gate, rolling carts, load bars, etc..)
