Patient Experience Liaison

Job Description

Atlantic Health System is seeking a Full-Time Patient Experience Liaison at Hackettstown Medical Center working 8:00am - 4:00pm; Tuesday - Saturday.

Responsible for serving as a primary contact for patients and their families, providing both proactive service and service recovery when required. Collects feedback through surveys and audits and assists in the identification of patient satisfaction gaps. Assists in the development of recommendations and implementation of new patient experience initiatives.

Responsibilities:

• Addresses and greets patients and visitors upon arrival and offers direction and assistance as required.
• Utilizes the skills and provide experience to the family members of the patient for patient care experience.
• Works with the team members, staff and physicians.
• Analyzes and resolves complaints and concerns and communicates issues to appropriate staff.
• Works with individuals or departments to minimize service delays and communicates delays to patients and families.
• Identifies and implements systems and processes to increase efficiency and reduce costs while maintaining service/mission quality.
• Provides data on patient care issues, maintains reports, analyses trends, and forwards information to appropriate departments for action and closes the loop.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
• CAHPS knowledgeable.

Qualifications/Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor's degree in healthcare, communication or relevant area preferred.
• To provide a safe environment to our patients, we require that all candidates must be able to read, write and speak English.

Relevant Experience:

• 2-years' experience in Healthcare, Customer Service, Hospitality or relevant area preferred.

Hackettstown Medical Center has been providing care to the community since 1973, primarily serving Warren, Sussex and Morris Counties in New Jersey.
