What You'll Do
As a caregiver, you'll provide both practical assistance and meaningful companionship to clients in their homes.
Responsibilities may include:
- Assisting with personal care (bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting)
- Helping with mobility and safe transfers
- Meal preparation and nutritional support
- Medication reminders
- Light housekeeping and laundry
- Providing companionship and emotional support
- Transportation to appointments and errands
- Supporting clients living with Alzheimer's or dementia
- Documenting care using our easy-to-use AxisCare app
- Following safety and infection-control procedures
Qualifications
18 years or older
Dependable, responsible, and professional
Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively
CPR & First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain within 2 weeks)
Reliable transportation, valid insurance, and good driving record
Ability to pass a background check and TB test (or obtain within 2 weeks)
Previous home care or long-term care experience preferred, but not required
