Products in this business unit include integrated device power supplies (DPS) as well as high-speed and precision signal chains targeted toward Automated Test Equipment applications.
In this role, you will own evaluation solutions end-to-end-from test concept and schematics through PCB bring-up, automation, and evaluation reporting-using bench lab test equipment to enable device validation, characterization, and qualification of precision mixed-signal products. Your work will have direct impact on product readiness and customer success by ensuring correlation between bench results, ATE test, and design engineering simulations, and by partnering across New Product Development teams, applications (local and offshore), and Failure Analysis. • Design, develop, and debug cost-effective evaluation test HW/SW solutions for characterization and qualification in the wafer probe and package environments.
• Work with design engineers to define and develop evaluation test methodologies, test plans and test modes.
• Define and create evaluation test schematics and work with layout engineers for creation of printed circuit boards (PCBs).
• Program and debug evaluation test programs to correlate evaluation test solution results to design engineering simulations. (C#, Python)
• Engage and support local and offshore application teams to resolve product use-case questions and problems after production release.
• Assist with customer returns and the Failure Analysis teams.
• Participation in New Product Development teams and characterization of new evaluation test systems for future applications.
• Communicate early and often with senior leaders of various departments.
• Manage, create, and maintain project schedules that align with product introduction and release dates.
• Motivated, resourceful team-player who is willing to do 'whatever it takes' to get the job done.
REQUIRED SKILLS:

• Strong programming fundamentals in at least one language (experience with C#/C++/Python a plus).
• Bench equipment experience (Spectrum Analyzers, Oscilloscopes, Logic Analyzers, Signal Generators, VNA's, Power Supplies, Source Meters, etc.).
• Familiar with PCB schematic and layout tools such as OrCAD or Cadence Allegro.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Outlook). Performing statistical data analysis using Excel or other data tools.
• Experience with FPGA, Microprocessors, and micro-controllers is a plus.
