Healthcare PE Transactional Associate Chicago AmLaw 100
Our AmLaw 100 client is expanding its Chicago healthcare transactions team. The group is nationally ranked and active across private equity platforms, provider networks, and high-visibility deals. The platform is deep, collaborative, and built for associates who want to run with responsibility on day one.
Role Summary
• Execute and manage healthcare M&A and minority investments for private equity sponsors and portfolio companies
• Draft and negotiate purchase agreements, JV documents, management and services arrangements, and related commercial contracts
• Lead regulatory workstreams in partnership with specialists, including change-of-ownership, licensing, fraud and abuse, and state corporate practice issues
• Support deal diligence, structure, and closing across multi-jurisdictional provider platforms
Candidate Profile
• 3-5 years of healthcare transactional experience at a top 100 firm, with clear exposure to private equity deals
• Strong drafting skills and comfort driving workstreams with clients, counterparties, and specialists
• Illinois Bar required
• Superior academics and writing samples that show judgment and precision
