AccentCare Hospice of Pasco County is currently seeking compassionate members of our community to serve as senior companions! By becoming a volunteer, you'll have the opportunity to provide social and emotional support to seniors in need, brightening their day and making a positive impact on their lives. Volunteering with AccentCare is to be a part of something truly special!

We are currently looking for help with the following:

  • Companionship Volunteers offer a gentle presence, conversation and comfort to support patients and their families during end-of-life care
  • Respite Volunteers provide one or two hours of your time, allowing family caregivers to take a short break knowing their loved one is cared for
  • Veteran Volunteers connect with your fellow servicemen and women in a way others cannot, celebrating their service and their lives
  • Music Companion and Spiritual Companion Volunteers share your musical talent or spiritual comfort with patients and families to brighten their days
  • Legacy and Crafting Volunteers visit patient homes or facilities and provide fun crafting sessions to support a comforting environment while creating lasting mementos that will help families remember their loved ones
  • Pet Therapy Volunteers certified therapy animals can accompany you on visits to provide comfort and joy to patients
  • Massage and Reiki Volunteers licensed massage therapists or certified Reiki masters can visit patients to provide soothing relief
  • Cosmetology Volunteers licensed cosmetologists can visit homebound patients for hair and nail services to make them feel their best
