Job description
Our client is seeking an experienced IT Project/Program Manager to lead complex technology initiatives that span multiple business areas. In this role, you will provide formal work direction and leadership to assigned teams, ensuring projects are executed on time, within budget, and in alignment with enterprise objectives. You will be responsible for the full project lifecycle—from detailed planning and resource allocation to risk mitigation and stakeholder communication.
This is a 12-month on-site opportunity based in Juno Beach, FL, working a standard 40-hour week. You will join a collaborative environment where your ability to drive IT roadmaps, manage budgets, and coach team members will directly contribute to delivering impactful technology solutions.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain detailed work plans, schedules, project estimates, resource plans, and status reports to ensure transparency and accountability.
- Lead cross-functional teams, contractors, and consultants to deliver IT capabilities that meet business requirements and strategic goals.
- Manage stakeholder relationships and provide executive-level project oversight, including regular communication on progress, risks, and milestones.
- Oversee the installation and integration of IT projects across multiple business areas, ensuring alignment with technology strategies.
- Identify and mitigate project risks using standard procedures and best practices, while ensuring compliance with internal policies and industry standards.
- Drive continuous improvement of IT governance frameworks and project management processes.
- Support employee development through coaching, ongoing performance feedback, and formal work direction.
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field.
- Experience leading IT projects, managing cross-functional teams, and overseeing technical implementations.
- Solid track record of project execution and delivery, with a focus on achieving measurable business outcomes.
- Working knowledge of project management methodologies and tools such as JIRA, Trello, Confluence, or Azure DevOps.
- Demonstrated experience leading Microsoft 365 implementations, including SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive, and Power Platform.
- Strong understanding of cloud-based collaboration tools and enterprise IT infrastructure.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills with the ability to propose practical solutions.
- Experience in Agile project management, IT governance, financial forecasting, and strategic planning.
