Engineer / Senior Engineer (Mechanical, Electrical, or Plumbing) – 2 Openings

P.E. License Required

Location: Baltimore MD and our satellite office in Norfolk VA

Hybrid: 3 days onsite, 2 days WFH

Salary Range: $100K-$150K

Position Summary: We are seeking licensed Mechanical, Electrical, or Plumbing Engineers with 5–15+ years of experience designing building systems for commercial and institutional facilities. Depending on experience level, this role may focus on leading full project design efforts, supervising junior staff, and serving as a technical expert for internal and external stakeholders. Candidates should be well-versed in Revit/AutoCAD and comfortable managing calculations, documentation, and construction administration.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead or contribute to HVAC, lighting, power distribution, or plumbing system design for commercial facilities
  • Prepare engineering calculations, technical drawings, and specifications
  • Coordinate with clients, architects, and public agencies throughout the project lifecycle
  • Review and oversee construction documents, QA/QC, and engineering deliverables
  • Participate in field visits, site observations, and construction administration tasks
  • Mentor junior staff and assist with proposal development (senior level)

Qualifications:

  • BSME, BSEE, or BSAE from an accredited program
  • PE license (required)
  • 5–15+ years of progressive experience in commercial MEP design
  • Proficiency with AutoCAD and Revit
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills
  • Strong understanding of building codes, project workflows, and QA/QC practices
