Clinical Psychologist Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Clinical Psychologist to provide outpatient services in two of our fastest-growing facilities. You will be responsible for evaluating patients, gathering patient history, administering tests, diagnosing issues, and developing a treatment plan to reduce or eliminate those issues. While you will primarily work with patients on an individual basis, you will also work with small groups in our educational classes. We pride ourselves in providing excellent patient care and expect all of our Clinical Psychologists to give extensive support to all of our clients.
Clinical Psychologist Duties and Responsibilities
- Interview and evaluate patients to discuss their concerns
- Administer tests and surveys to diagnose patients' psychological, emotional, or behavioral issues
- Develop and carry out treatment plans for patients
- Monitor patient progress through regular appointments, making adjustments to treatment when necessary
- Work with individuals and small groups to reduce or eliminate problems
Clinical Psychologist Requirements and Qualifications
- Ph.D. in psychology or a Doctor of Psychology degree
- Certification by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology
- 3+ years of professional experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Compassionate and sensitive to patients' needs and concerns
- Excellent communication skills
