Overview
Tecolote Research, Inc. is seeking a talented, self-driven individual for a position as a SME Strategic Communications Analyst to support the Space Sensing SET team.
Responsibilities
Supporting the Space Sensing Chief of Staff as a key member of the SET team, the candidate will be responsible for the development and implementation of communication strategies that adhere to DoD and US Space Force policies and guidance.
SET Member will:
  • Use TMT and MS Office Suite to initiate, track and close out various directorate, SSC, and Space Force Command taskers
  • Draft written and visual communication materials (e.g., program acquisition point papers, briefings, articles, press releases, and responses to Congressional, HHQ, and media Requests for Information) for diverse audiences while managing the business operations for the same
  • Work cross-functionally with internal stakeholders to create communication plans and products that align with the organization's overall strategic objectives for space development programs and launch campaigns
  • Assemble and provide instruction on the completion of electronic Staff Summary Sheet (eSSS) packages
  • Effectively communicate with offices at each leadership level (Directorate, Center, MAJCOM, SF, DoD)
  • Provide support to PEO PMRs, All Calls, and other high-level meetings as needed
  • Advise leadership on status of assigned deliverables
  • Other duties as assigned

Skills Required
  • Minimum 15 years' experience in Federal Government acquisition (e.g. DOD Agencies, US Space force, US Air Force, or NASA Programs)
  • Strategic thinker with strong verbal and written communication skills and a sharp attention to detail
  • Expert knowledge of Space Force/Air Force acquisition environment and DoD tools such as TMT and MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • 5 years of recent Space Program experience is highly desired
  • US Citizenship is required
  • Master's degree in business, Management, Economics, Science, Technology, Engineering, or Statistics is required
  • Active DoD Secret clearance is required
  • Salary Range: $120,000.00 - $150,000.00/Year, DOE

Education
Bachelor's degree required, preferably in math, engineering, or the sciences.
