Job description

The Opportunity: We are seeking an Advanced Solutions Consultant (ASC) to serve as a consultative seller and trusted technology advisor, helping customers identify, evaluate, and implement complex technology services and solutions. This role leads opportunities from initial discovery and solution development through proposal, commercial close, and successful handoff to delivery.
The ideal candidate combines strong technical and business acumen with a consultative approach, translating customer needs into practical, outcome-focused solutions. The ASC will collaborate closely with customers, sales teams, architects, delivery leaders, and technology partners to develop solutions that are technically sound, commercially viable, and aligned with customer objectives.
  • Role: Advanced Solutions Consultant
  • Experience: 5+ years in an IT sales or solutions consulting role
  • Location: Las Vegas, NV
  • Employment Type: Full Time
  • Travel: Local and overnight travel to customer, vendor, and company locations as needed.

Key responsibilities
  • Lead customer discovery and qualification with business, technical, and executive stakeholders.
  • Shape solutions for professional services, managed services, assessments, migrations, modernization, and other complex engagements.
  • Partner with account executives, architects, delivery leaders, finance, legal, and technology partners to develop executable solutions.
  • Build and maintain repeatable service offerings within the company's Solution Suite, including scopes, value propositions, pricing inputs, and supporting collateral.
  • Develop proposals, statements of work, estimates, presentations, and commercial models.
  • Define clear assumptions, exclusions, dependencies, risks, customer responsibilities, and success criteria.
  • Present recommendations and business value to technical and executive audiences.
  • Support negotiations and provide a complete handoff to delivery after signature.
  • Maintain strong relationships with customers, sales teams, delivery organizations, vendors, and consulting partners.

Required qualifications
  • Experience selling, scoping, architecting, or delivering complex technology services.
  • Strong understanding of enterprise technology and the ability to engage credibly with technical and business stakeholders.
  • Experience creating proposals, SOWs, estimates, pricing, or other customer-facing commercial materials.
  • Excellent discovery, communication, presentation, facilitation, negotiation, and writing skills.
  • Ability to connect technical solutions to business outcomes and customer value.
  • Strong organization, commercial judgment, and attention to scope and delivery risk.
  • Ability to manage multiple opportunities and collaborate across functions.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
  • Willingness to travel as required.

Preferred qualifications
  • Experience in professional services, systems integration, managed services, consulting, or technology advisory.
  • Experience with cloud, Microsoft solutions, cybersecurity, data protection, networking, storage, migrations, or infrastructure modernization.
  • Familiarity with fixed-fee, time-and-materials, recurring managed services, and usage-based pricing models.
  • Relevant technical, cloud, security, project-management, or vendor certifications.
