Position Overview

Augment Professional Services (APS) is seeking an Architect to support design coordination and project delivery for large-scale industrial and advanced manufacturing facilities.

The Architect will collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering, construction, facilities, and client teams to develop and coordinate architectural solutions that meet operational, code, constructability, safety, and project requirements.

Key responsibilities may include:

  • Support architectural design and technical coordination.
  • Review drawings, specifications, submittals, and design packages.
  • Coordinate architectural requirements with structural, mechanical, electrical, process, and construction teams.
  • Support facility layouts, building envelope, interior spaces, life-safety, and code compliance.
  • Identify design conflicts and support resolution of field conditions.
  • Participate in design reviews and constructability reviews.
  • Respond to RFIs and support construction-phase technical questions.
  • Conduct site walks and verify design intent.
  • Support project closeout and record-document development.
 Required Technical Skills
  • Architectural design experience on complex commercial, industrial, or technical facilities.
  • Ability to interpret and develop architectural construction documents.
  • Understanding of building codes and life-safety requirements.
  • Experience coordinating multidisciplinary design.
  • Familiarity with BIM and CAD-based design workflows.
  • Strong technical documentation and communication skills.
Preferred Experience / Qualifications
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture.
  • Registered Architect license.
  • Revit and BIM coordination experience.
  • Semiconductor, cleanroom, manufacturing, data center, laboratory, or mission-critical facility experience.
  • Experience supporting active construction and fast-track design programs.
  • LEED or related credentials.
